Hello! 

I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. I have been very active my whole life; playing various sports, but in particular, hockey, golf and weight-lifting. I completed my Undergraduate and Master's degrees in Biochemistry, the latter of which focused on breast cancer research under the supervision of Dr. Siyaram Pandey at the University of Windsor. My research was focused on testing extracts from various herbs on both cell-culture and animal models of breast cancer cell lines. This opened my eyes to the potential for herbal medicine to be used to treat cancer in the future; either via potential anticancer effects directly or using herbs to combat the side effects that result from conventional treatment of cancer (ie. surgery, chemotherapy and radiation). After completing my Master's degree, I enrolled in a 4-year medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. Having successfully completed various licensing exams in 2023 and acquiring my license as a Naturopathic Doctor, I opened my practice called NEW HORIZONS NATUROPATHIC in January 2024.
My goal is to help others achieve their own health-goals using various Naturopathic principles. In particular, I want to help all of my patients optimize their five main pillars that make up the foundation of one's health. They are: good quality nutrition, regular exercise, quality and quantity of sleep, optimal stress management, and positive social connections.
